There is nothing quite so disquieting as beginning an autopsy and the “patient” groans and moans.
Seriously.
Makes for a quasi-code brown moment.
And no…the “patient” wasn’t alive.
Just full of air…in the stomach…that was released when the lower esophageal sphincter relaxed.
It’s even worse when they twitch.

@Emancip8 - no, that would’ve been the lower GI sphincter. The upper one means he burped.
And having done more than my share of post-mortem care, I can verify that it can be creepy.
