That’s the projected snowfall over the next 24 hours.
Pervs.
Western South Dakota is currently blanketed by over 30 inches of the white stuff. With winds blowing at 20-40 mph it makes for a nasty white-out.
Ground is white, sky is white and it’s all white in between. Think of Little House on the Prairie and the rope that ran between the barn and the house. Blizzard shit.

I used to devour those books when I was a child and was SO disappointed when the TV series turned out to be a barely-related pile of schmaltzy shite. There’s also a blizzard in one of the later books where Laura is leading a column of kids along a street and nearly misses where she’s heading for and if she HAD missed it they would have walked out into the prairie and died. That really shook me.
We never get decent snow here anymore. I LOVE snow.

Good choice of DVD watching there. LOL I watched Jaynes Town (one of my favorite episodes) the other night. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the cast from that.
